Effective January 1, 2008, the Nassau County District Attorney's Office contracted with Suzanne Hand & Associates to provide court reporting services to the Grand Jury. Suzanne Hand & Associates is pleased to announce that to date, seven reporters have obtained the Certified LiveNote Reporter (CLR) designation that enables them to properly connect and troubleshoot Realtime connections. The CLR program is part of an ongoing initiative to enable attorneys to achieve an edge over the deponent or opposing counsel by using technology. This is the only program offering advanced skills tailored to Realtime software. Realtime enables attorneys to have access to testimony and markup live text as it scrolls on their computer, search earlier testimony to powerfully question a witness, and complete a deposition summary before leaving the room.
